Neil Niblett AMIAS, Tech RICS, FFB, MBIM
Neil has over 25 years experience in the field of Primary Healthcare buildings. Having run the architectural practice of Neil Niblett & Associates Ltd for over twenty years, the business was acquired by Ashley House plc who are Design and Build contractors and Third Party Developers and Neil was retained as Managing Director of NNA Ltd to assist in developing and expanding the business.
Neil is also an advisor to the NHS Estates and was part of the working party who formulated the revised Cost Rent Schedule and Premises Guidance – ‘A Commentary’.
Neil has provided guidance to many PCT/LHBs in England and Wales as well as General Practitioners on all aspects of development. His knowledge and understanding of Primary Healthcare, user requirements and building procurement and design is varied and extensive. He also has the benefit of schemes from the user, developer and designer’s viewpoint. He has an understanding of the role of Solicitors and Accountants and thus can act as co-ordinator to ensure a smooth and efficient project programme.

Nigel has over 20 years post qualification experience and he worked with a number of specialist companies gaining experience in restoration, nursing care and primary healthcare before starting his own business N B Architecture & Design. This allowed him to develop his interest in ‘green’ architecture and sustainable architectural solutions. He has undertaken many design projects for domestic and commercial clients including new build, conversions and restoration projects.

Richard has gained invaluable experience working in diverse project areas such as hotel design (Forte Heritage), agricultural development (Duchy of Cornwall) and historic building renovation and conservation (Oxford Colleges) as well as commercial and domestic projects.
In 2000 Richard joined the technical team of Ashley House plc (Wales) designing and developing primary healthcare medical centres and surgeries.
In 2006 Richard helped form ESP Architectural Services, in partnership with Gabrielle Shephard, providing architectural design, technical and project management services to private and commercial clients alike.
Gabrielle Shephard – Business Manager
Gabrielle has worked for the past twelve years in the architectural profession providing an essential administration and accounting service. Gabrielle has previous experience of accounting and business management and will continue to do this within the company.
